I may be the only one But I thought the H3 truck idea was worth exploring.

Re: Hummer H4

I'd like to see something from Hummer that would stuff the *&^ FJ Cruiser fans that visit GMI. That would take care of the Jeep Fans too.

Something so unarguably superior that people would laugh when anyone tried to compare other, inferior products.

Lightweight, powerful, trail happy, dead reliable even when abused, and easy on gas or diesel. And uniquely Hummer.

Now that would be sweet.

Re: Hummer H4

Thats been something I've always been wondering. Hummer NEEDS a Wrangler compeditor. That will forever show who is the king of off roading.

agreed. it has to surpass the current benchmark of the rubicon wrangler and at the top, i'd like a totallly revamped H2 with an alpha version that takes on the LR off roaders and an Escalade that defeats the RR easily. Maybe to an escalade sport like the RR sport and make one more deriv of the S-calade.

A 355 that is shortend, and comes standard with the new 2.9 4cyl and 3.7 optional. 5spd auto or manual, solid front and rear axles, but be more along the size of the Unlimited Wrangler then the standard Wrangler. Price it at a touch over 20k.

Re: Hummer H4

I agree, in order for it to be a Wrangler competitor, you need to have a Solid Front axle, or no dice.

I would love to see one that would have that feature among other things that would be comparable to the Rubicon. The price doesn't have to be only $20,000. I say that because I haven't seen one wrangler that people wheel that isn't stock, you couldn't easily. You add the lift kit the new wheels and tires and whatnot, and you are easily around $30,000. They need to have it less then the H3.

This needs to have rear locking and possibly front locking diffs. Needs a little more ground clearance then the stock Wrangler and needs to have the 33 tire size standard.

I wouldn't mind something like that. Although I kind of like how Hummer is seen as a hard to obtain brand. I think if they made a H4 that was meant to compete with the Wrangler, it should be MORE expensive.

GM has very competitive pricing on all it's brands, and that clearly isn't working too well. They need at least one over priced brand.

Agreed!

But how many H's are they supposed to make, Hummer is supposed to be exclusive. Stop at number three, it's getting ridiculous!
