Reminds me of the time i did a test drive in a go-cart. Needless to say, it went about like this did, and i almost destroyed an indestructable(sp?) clucth.

The STi was within 2mph of the M3's top speed, average speed was just over 1mph faster and the average lap time was almost 4 tenths quicker. I love my STi and would love to have a new one but I almost can't believe it was quicker. I would think the M3 would be quicker on almost any track. One thing: The stock STi is not a great track car...pretty much every one in the Suby community would probably agree with me on that. Which is another reason why I am shocked. However with 2 or 3 tweaks... ![]() |
