Friend traded Nissan Altima for 300 Signature Series

In the name of dumping an import and picking up an domestic, I thought I'd let some of you know that one of my good friends parents just got rid of their Nissan Altima and picked up a brand new DCX 300 Signature Series. I don't remember the year of the Altima though I think it was either '02 or '03, I can't remember their lease terms. I'm not exactly sure of the year of the 300 but I'm assuming they take two year leases (if that's possible). My friends dad had previously said that he was going to get a Mercedes next time but I guess chose the 300 instead, whether the 300 be part Mercedes or not, he still went with the Chrysler. I like hearing about this kind of thing.

Re: Friend traded Nissan Altima for 300 Signature Series

Though I'd have liked to see them go w/ a GM vehicle, I applaud them for picking a domestic brand... imo, the American's need to put aside their cross-town rivalty for a few years (to a point anyway) and concentrate on fighting the imports together, since it appears that may need to happen... in the car segment anyway... just a little thought of mine...

Anyway, yay USA!

Good for him. With the exception of the Sigma based sedans, especially the CTS/V that is ther best American four door on the market right now. Just the fact that it's RWD, and V8 brings a tear to my eye... nevermind the gorgeous semi-retro styling from Virgil Exner's era...
