Re: Cool new Saab Ad!

The trick is to use an exacto knife and cut down the spine of the magazine, then you can pull the page out like an expert. But, you were probably in the dentist's office or something and snagged this on your way out. Bravo!

I remember seeing the photo in the ad, but I can't remember if it was this ad where I saw it. Always loved the Saab key position too, so cool...kind of weird they are now positioning it as a safety feature "to help reduce the risk of knee injuries in a collision." It probably does help reduce the risk of knee injuries, but it's always been there because that's where they put it in their airplanes back in the 30's...and their cup holders are the coolest too.

I saw that ad too. It's a nice ad that trumpets some of Saab's safety features. I do however find it funny that the only safety feature worthwhile on the 9-7X is the center-mounted ignition - not exactly a make-it or break-it deal maker for most people.

Thumbs down Re: Cool new Saab Ad!

WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD GM FANS. My wife has been driving Saab's for 20 years. This is her take on the new SAAB. GM bought Saab, GM does not have a clue about Saab owners. I will not buy a GM Saab they suck. This Saab commercial is so GM, no wonder they can't sell their SHI*BOXES to anyone with a brain. YO RICKEY WAGGYBOY, another Saab customer lost.

OK... I'll bite... What do we Saab buyers expect from a Saab???

I expect clean interior design.
I expect ergonomic interiors.
I expect crisp performance.
I expect superior cornering and handling.
I expect superior safety features.
I expect a center ignition.

What else do Saab owners expect?

Re: Cool new Saab Ad!

I'm not a Saab owner (for now), but don't Saab owners want turbo power? Maybe Saab should offer a turbocharger as a dealer-installed option for the 9-7X...

Cadillac offers a Supercharge 3rd party option for the Escalade.
I don't see why a Saab delaership can offer a 3rd party turbocharger option on the 9-7X.
