Being that Opel has been owned by GM since 1929...

What were they doing during WWII? Anyone know?

Supplying trucks to the German forces of course.
Similar design to the Bedford(?) supplied to the British forces at a guess.

Best business in the world, supplying both sides.

Don't get too puritanical though, Ford were in the same boat. Also, just think for a minute, if you were working in Germany in the WW2 era - would you have refused the Chancellors command?

Opel was the biggest truck supplier in Germany before WW2.
During the war the Opel Blitz and the Opel Maultier were the important
trucks for the Wehrmacht.
