9-7X at Dealers Now!!

Well, tonight, I did "early drop off" for my car, since I can't drop it off in the morning.
And sitting right there was a silver 9-7X. Those things look very nice in person!!
it was dark, so i could'nt see the interiors very well, but I will do so tomorrow when I pick up my car. :-))

I was wondering if they were out yet, I had seen one at a Max & Ermas. I was on my way to work so I hurried into the parking lot and drove by it. I agree it looks really sharp. I went on-line to look at them, its weird how there is only four or so color options you can get them in. I should go check and see if they deleted the auto dimming mirror like they did on the other GMT-360's.

GM, Then and Now... Before you go and buy a import brand car because of the perception of quality, do a little research and you will find GM has as good or better quality than most of those other brands. It's not cool to hate America people!

It's just a limited run for the 2005 model year. There'll be a bunch more color choices and options for '06, I'm sure

Re: 9-7X at Dealers Now!!

So I pick up my car at the dealership this afternoon.
They weren't allowing test drives on the 9-7X, as it's going through evalutations and the staff is training on it. However, they did let me sit in it.

Now, I haven't sat in a Trailblazer or an Envoy or even Ranier recently, but I must say I was quite impressed by the dash plastics. High quality and textured and rubbery. The leather was soft yet tough. The center armrest has beautiful contrast stitching. THe wood accents are great. The center stack is a bit too thick and rounded, but it's OK.

But I didn't get to sit in it for too long. But I was impressed by just sitting in there. Can't wait to drive one and see if it really holds up to "Saab-like" handling characteristics.

Re: 9-7X at Dealers Now!!

OK... the kind people at the Saab dealership let me drive hte 9-7X... even though they weren't supposed to. It is very impressive to say the least. Cornering is pretty tight. The interior materials are far above the GMC Denalis. Quite surprising too. The leather seats are on par with those in the SRX with the contrast stitching on the black seats.

I am VERY impressed.
