9-3 SportCombi Changes???

On a whim, I decided to surf thru Saabusa.com, and noticed that there was more information about 9-7X and 9-3 posted, so I decided to check it out.

To my shock, the cool "ice" tail lights are GONE from teh 9-3 SportCombi!!

This really blows, as that was the coolest part about the car!!! I hope they retain it as an option or something!!

The 'ice' lights could be optional or just for European usage. The US will probably not sell to many of the combi so it may just get one tail light option, I really don't know.

Re: 9-3 SportCombi Changes???

Ice tails are not allowed in all states, so I think thats the main problem.
But I would be really really suprised if you lived in a "ok" state and could not factory order ice tails.

Better mail Saab USA and ask.

But I remember hugely negative feedback from the USA about those ice tails, there is a chance that it frightened Saab.

That's jsut too bad. Equinox has clear taillights. There's no reason to put a little red in those ice tails. GRRR... I live in California, and most likely, those ice tails would be illegal here.
