Where is the 2007 Avalanche?

January is here and still no official pics or reveal of the new Avalanche. Where is it?!? I figured it would be revealed with the EXT...but that didn't happen. Anybody know more info?

I also think if it would get revealed before the Silverado they would think that we could see what the Silverado would be like.

I suppose the styling won't be identicle to the Tahoe/Suburban. I hope is isn't identicle to the pick-ups either. Slightly different headlights or grill would work nicely to give it a more sporty feel.

Yeah, it gets sort of bad when a company has like 15 trucks and suvs on the same platform with pretty much the same face and lines.

15? Please it's more like 10.

Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche, Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL, Escalade, Escalade ESV, and Escalade EXT.

3 of them are Large SUV's, 3 are Super Large SUV's, 2 are normal Pick-Ups, and 2 are Pick-Ups with the mid-gate. Besides each one is in a different luxury price range. The 900 platform is probably one of THE BEST examples of good platform sharing.

The Pick-Up Trucks will be released at Chicago. They have different front ends.

Re: Where is the 2007 Avalanche?

I liked the Avalanche first came out because it was different, then the SIlverado took on the same look kinda, and then Avalanche copied the SIlverado. Personally it ruined the truck for me. Hopefully its different from both the SIlverado and Tahoe/Suburban.

And then Honda copied the Avalance.

According to GM, they are all supposed to be unique.

I am with you, I am really eager to see the new Avalanche. I really like the current one but I think it would look alot better with the new GMT-900 stlying.
