Silverado 1500

My buddy wants to correct his tire size on the 1500 and wants to know if anyone here has bought a programmer for their truck. He's looking at buying a diablo or bully dog. His main worry is that his DIC might not work after installing the programmer

Re: Silverado 1500

the dealer can do it. thats what i did when i put the bigger tires on mine.

everything will still work, the info will just be off a little bit. i recently had to go back to the stock tire size and havent reprogrammed and everything is fine, the calculations are just off since the computer thinks you have a bigger/smaller tire.

you can look around here too, these guys are very helpful too. www.gm-trucks.com
