    Pricing Speculation on S. Denail?

So we know now that the top of line Tundra is ~380HP with a 6spd, around $42K. How much will the 6.2 (how much hp there?) with a 6spd Sierra Denali cost, similarly equiped?

For the Yukon here is the price difference when you add every option available to match the Denali except for the drivetrain through the gmbuypower website.

    Yukon 4WD SLT 4SB
    MSRP $44,545

    Options:

Body, liftgate with liftglass, power rear door system with rear-window wiper/washer $350

Cooling, auxiliary external transmission oil cooler, heavy-duty air-to-oil $95

Seat release, second row bench, power release only $425

    Seats, heated second row $200

    Seats, third row 50/50 split-bench with Custom Cloth, 3-passenger, removable, all-belts-to-seat $100

Suspension Package, Autoride, bi-state variable shock dampening and rear air-assisted load-leveling, includes (G69) automatic air level control $1120

Windshield washer fluid system, heated $85

    Wipers, front intermittent, Rainsense $95

    Total Options: $2270

    Total Vehicle MSRP: $46,815

Base Denali Price is only $48,620

That is only a difference of $1805

If you price a Sierra 4WD SLT 4SA
    MSRP is $38,640

    Options:

Air bags, head curtain side-impact, front and rear outboard seating positions, with rollover sensor $395

Convenience Package, includes (JF4) adjustable power pedals, (AP3) remote vehicle starter system and (UD7) Rear Parking Assist $540

EZ-Lift Tailgate Package, includes (A60) locking tailgate and (PPA) EZ-Lift tailgate $95

Luggage rack side rails, roof-mounted, Black, (does not include cross rails) $195

Trailering equipment, heavy-duty, includes trailering hitch platform and 2-inch receiver, 7-wire harness (harness includes wires for: park lamps, backup lamps, right turn, left turn, electric brake lead, battery and ground) with independent fused trailering circuits mated to a 7-way sealed connector, wiring harness for after-market trailer brake controller (located in the instrument panel harness), and single wire for center high-mounted stop lamp, (K47) high-capacity air cleaner and (KNP) external transmission oil cooler $350

XM Satellite Radio, with a wide variety of programming, XM has something to excite any driver. Whether you want to be entertained or informed, to laugh, think, or sing, XM has the perfect channel for you - coast-to-coast, and in digital-quality sound. 3 trial months - no obligation $199

    Total Options: $1774

    Total Vehicle MSRP: $40,414

So if the pricing is similar to the Yukon the Sierra Denali price should be $42,219

Now I know there may be some differences between the Yukon and the Sierra, but if GM expects to sell the pickup I would think they would want to price it to compete with the upcoming Tundra and make it a more attractive purchase instead of the Yukon.

I myself will be very dissapointed if the base MSRP is $45,000, The 07 Classic base MSRP is only $40,025. I can't see a $5000 price jump from the GMT800 to GMT900.

The pricing for the new Sierra Denali is now on the GMC website. It looks like the base price is $38,995 for 2WD and $42,095 for AWD.
