LT3 Vs LTZ Question....

Okay, base price of an LT3 4x4 is $42,190, the LTZ is $47, 690.

Can someone please explain to me why ther is a $5,500 gap here. According to the Chevy website the main difference besides the wheels is the HEATED WINDSHEILD WIPER FLUID. so besides the wheels (polished aluminium 20inch), why the huge price jump? those wheels have got to be at most $1300....

LTZ has standard third row seats and air suspension. Not sure that's worth $5500 difference though.

How come all over the internet people think the NAv is standard on LTZ? I don't see that on the Chevy site. I know you have to get nav to get the camera which is an option, not standard. The LTZ gets you that 2 passenger third row standard, the heated fluid, autoride, rainsense, 2 passenger 3rd row seat, the second row power folding heated bench seats, the 20's, the power liftgate, and thats about it, not so bad for 5,500.

Now can anyone explain to me why:

Seats, second-row
leather-appointed reclining buckets with NEW power-release function

Seats, second-row
leather-appointed reclining buckets with NEW heated cushions

Does anyone know why you can not get both the head and the power release on those buckets? The way GM talks it sounds like those seats have heat becasue they showed the folding and talked about the seats being heated...so wtf? Dealers, someone help?

One more:
Navigation Radio5
includes AM/FM stereo, Touch-Screen Navigation Radio with CD/MP3/DVD player functionality, seek-scan, auto tone control, and Radio Data System (RDS)1

NEW Navigation Radio6
includes voice recognition. AM/FM stereo, Touch-Screen Navigation Radio with alternate CD player functionality, seek-scan, auto tone control, and Radio Data System (RDS)1

How come when you get the nav with the DVD player you lose the voice recognition function? Is this too hard to squeeze in with dvd? Ok wait when i look at the buypower build site it shows voice rec on both, so this was just a typo on the chevy site.

Re: LT3 Vs LTZ Question....

I just built one, and the Nav was an option....$2150 or something, which is about the same as what it was on the '05 and '06's.

One more thing, can anyone tell me why last year, the year before and this year on build and price when you add the second row buckets to a LT LTZ or Z71 Tahoe the thing goes nuts and deletes tons of other options and brings it back almost to base?

If anybody needs to build and price a 2007 Tahoe, this is the link:
http://www.chevrolet.com/byo/build.c...77494&x=22&y=8
They don't have it linked yet on the site.
