Right now I've got a 95 C1500...Love it but it has no 4WD!!!!!!

Big minus with farm and construction work
I know of an 85' Blazer that I'm pretty sure you can pick up for a pretty good price. Its got the 5.0L and 4WD. The transmission went out on it a couple of years ago and is just sitting on my parents driveway, its been there since about October 2002. They have no plans for it and my mom wants it gone! I haven't even sat in it in years, and the last time it was started was probably 04 or 05. Here's a picture of it, just let me know if you or anyone here would be interested.

If anyone is serious about it, I can have my dad get out there with a camera and take some better photos.

Re: K5 blazer....older chevy truck

i just installed a 4" lift on my '82 k5 last saturday afternoon. i actually take mine offroad. it's sad how many people are wasting their 4wd, imo. the short wheelbase is great offroad, and even at stock height, they're taller than almost anything made today. solid front axle and the removable top were some of the biggest selling points for me. and since it's not my dd, the bad mpg doesn't hurt so much.
