Will we ever hear how many similarities (if any?) exist between the new EcoTec3 4.3 and outgoing Vortec 4.3? Namely I wonder if they will have similar dimensions and perhaps engine mounts so an EcoTec3 could be swapped into an older Vortec 4.3 truck. Assuming the computer issues can be worked out, of course. An all-aluminum AFM VVT DI 4.3 would make for an awesome swap into an S10.
