Here are some things that I doubt will be offered:
1. massaging seats
2. HUD
3. navigation/dvd systems
4. gimmicky chrome interior

GM knows it's core customers are happy with the current trucks, so an evolutionary design is in the cards.
Since C&G has pictures of the Nav/DVD system I would say you can BANK on them being offered.

Are you talking pickups or SUVs? I expect it will be offered on the SUV but not the pickup.

Oops i was talking about SUV's before. The pickups may have them as an option though for the upmodels. Well.....go to the "GMT-900 Discussion" thread and ask james, he seems to have all of the info on the new silverados and SUV's

Re: Don’t expect huge changes for new GM full-size trucks

Yeah James is alright, but I don't know if everything he says can be counted as truth. GM managers are known to blow smoke up peoples assess to find out where the information winds up, or just to misinform.

I can see the SUV's having a lot of fancy options but the trucks, No. GM has a strong, loyal following of people who are not demanding those options on trucks. They would be well advised not to pissoff that segment.

Re: Don’t expect huge changes for new GM full-size trucks

When GM introduced the previous Gen C1500 in 88 they made an huge design change so there is no need to do it again. The current trucks are great IMO and are in need of evolutionary design changes only. Don't mess with success. I for one think the current interior is nice, but if the new changes are as good as they sound then thats great news.
