A couple pics of my lifted 08 Duramax!

I have had this truck for about 6 weeks and 3,500 miles, 3,000 of them have been with the lift. So far the truck has been great, hopefully it stays that way! I have always had and loved lifted trucks, so please no lift hater posts, thanks!

Wow that is one sharp truck! Our of curiosity what are those 2 bars that run under the truck from about the center up to the front? Part of the lift kit?

Those are control arms, they are on stock trucks as well, but you cant see them. With a lot of lifts you get longer arms for more suspension articulation.

The outside set are the torsion bars, the short inner set are added support bars that come with the lift.

My last 2 trucks have been Black, and I almost got it again but decided I needed a break from all the washing!

I'm still doing my homework on performance upgrades, that will be my next project. It has the solid black LTZ interior with the wood accents, I plan on changing all the accents to brushed aluminum. Other projects will be steps, stereo upgrades, ect.

Awesome truck. I still don't understand why no manufacturers will offer a truck like this from the factory? Is there not enough demand? It seems like there would be.

I don't think they want to warranty the lift kit.

Increased risk of rollover, decreased mileage, more wear and tear on lifted components...GM (and for that matter everybody else) is too timid these days to take it all on.

    Great lift!

Have you been brave enough to calculate your mileage?

Looks great man! Those are probably the coolest truck rims I've ever seen! They sghould be on a Transformer!

If you were to really load down the rear end (heavy trailer or heavy load in the bed), is there a risk that your wheels would come into contact with the rear fenders? Maybe there are solid stops before that could happen... but in the side shot it looks like there isn't any clearance if you were to really load the bed down.

Thanks for all the good comments! It's always nice when someone can appreciate whats been done to your truck even if it's not what they would personally do to their own.
