When can we expect to see these new trucks in North America?
2008 Corvette ZO6
2011 Silverado LTZ Crew
2011 Sierra SLE Short Box
2011 HD 103 Street Glide
Hay, has anyone heard or seen any latest news or information on the up coming Chevy Colorado / Canyon pickup trucks?
I believe (don't quote me on it) they were talking 2014 as a 2015 model.
I can see the emphasis being on the full-size trucks in 2013 and then next year (2014) the focus shifting over to the mid-size offerings. You don't launch everything in one year, then the excitement's gone. There's still the HD models to be released and the SUVs. I'm sure later this year there will be more information from insiders and images caught by spy photographers giving us little by little information.

the way the colorado looks hopefully never!!!!
IF IT AINT RWD; AND A CHEVY I DONT RIDE IT!!!!!
ALL CHEVY'S NEED TO BE RWD!!!!!
I think the comment is based solely off the global look GM currently offers. Colorado/Canyon will be great trucks, but as we've seen in many cases, North American tastes vary from other areas of the world. My hope is that it would get a less bulbous look to the front end. Really wish they'd just go to the size of the old S10 and use it as a launching point for a new truck. The difference between the ZR2 and the Z71 Colorado they jsut stopped selling is evident in the used markets. Good S10's still bring solid money.
I owned a S10 the older square version, even the Current Canyon/Colorado look great IMO, like a actual mini sport trucks. The current Global Colorado is the ugliest truck GM has ever produced, and coming stateside means its going to fail. It looks a CUV with a truck bed, when it should look like a little brother to the Silverado, not a Lititle brother to the Traverse....its a truck for Goodness sake! I am not current in the Market to buy one no, but I love to see GM succeed, and I dont think the Colorado styling will go over well stateside.

I'm hoping GM differentiates the Canyon & Colorado more than they did with the Sierra and Silverado. I'm hoping for more distinction between the two, similar to how the Terrain and Equinox are styled differently but based off the same platform/body shell.

New Colorados will be nice, they'll do very well I hope, but their competition is pretty fierce and really well established; Frontiers and Tacomas are very, very nice trucks. I really liked all of the past three Nissan trucks I had.

This right here is what is wrong with your thinking, they have said time and time again they are going to be making a good amount of changes for the US market, including the styling. People pass judgment way to often without seeing what the end result is. That is like saying because two ugly people make a baby it will be ugly. You don't know, many times that is not the case... Same here, without seeing the end result that statement is just ignorant.
I completely agree with you it should look like a baby silverado, and I would also love to see GM succeed. With this truck I think it very much has the ability to, especially since they are probably bringing the diesel here and it will have a great strong V6 top engine offering as well as all the other improvements that the current colly couldn't live up to.
