Chevy Traverse Spotted in Nashville

I know they aren't due to hit dealerships for a few months now, so it was kinda cool to see one on the road so soon. I was driving home from work and happened to look in my rear view to spot the new face of the Traverse, headed north from the Spring Hill plant, I assume. I slowed down to let it pass me. I usually take the south loop (I-24 to I-65) home, but the Traverse stayed left towards I-40, so I changed lanes and followed. The driver exited onto Broadway, most likely headed for Jim Reed Chevrolet downtown. I managed to snap a few blurry pics with my phone as it drove past.

Couldn't get the phone turned horizontal in time for this one:

Aren't they set to begin production in the Fall, around September/October?

Damn this car looks good. I can't wait to see one up close.
This could be our next car.

This could be the last contender to go against Enclave for my wife's next ride. The Traverse looks good.

We checked out the Flex last night on the Ford website. She thought the sunroof was too large and did not like giving up 30 cubic feet of cargo space for nearly the same mileage and price.

Oh, that looks very nice out on the road! I think the Traverse will sell very well for Chevrolet dealership. Hopefully it is another Malibu for them.

Yes, it does look very good cruising on the highway. I was actually surprised at how nice it was. This should be a good seller for Chevy.

I like the Flex's interior a lot. I am just happy that I got her staying domestic for the next ride.

Re: Chevy Traverse Spotted in Nashville

Chevy has needed a proper people mover for years. This will do nicely, though having sliding doors as an option would be awesome .

Re: Chevy Traverse Spotted in Nashville

Yes, it does look good in these shots.

I hated it at first, but it might be growing on me. (It's probably going to sell well, regardless of what I think). I agree nsap, this could be another Malibu.
