2) Tailored.

3) 24

4) Sticker Option: $150 would be reasonable I suppose.

I have talked to two GM Marketing Executives about the idea of having a Yukon XL or Suburban with Envoy XUV style midgate/back compartment. Neither of them thought there was a market for it. So that's 2 on 2 now that I have your opinion Tiger! I don't know if it's Engineers or Marketing people who come up with new vehicle ideas but I do know that whoever it is makes enough bad decisions that they shouldn't dismiss other's ideas so quickly. It's the old skool thinking that has brought GM market share down to the point it's now at. Let's get it back above 30 with some new ideas (and I don't just mean styling).

For starters, why can't DVD Nav systems be an OPTION on ALL vehicles?? Just make it an OPTION. If I want to get a NAV system in a cobalt I should be able to, it's mostly independant from other things in the car... I mean, you don't have to add a totally different electronics system just to accomodate Nav... just add a GPS antenna. Charge whatever you want for it, people are spending thousands on Nav systems in cars that don't have the factory option to make those systems fit seamlessly (so there aren't wires all over - like factory systems).

sorry for the rant.

in large suvs and vans I'd like a fordable grocery cart and a ramp that folds out, so then u don't have to carry bags in. it folds for when its not holding stuff or something.

That sounds crazy but my mom keeps a flat fruit box in the back of her Rendezvous for carrying all her groceries in... maybe your shopping cart idea isn't so crazy. Do it like the stretcher in the back of an ambulance where the wheels and supports collapse flat.

CLEANABLE!

You already have a very good system, free of charge in the Pontiac Vibe.
Equipped with tie downs, cleanable, and hidin storage.

I lease a trailblazer and would rather have one from GM. I am a Chevy salesman and have never had people request one. I am 23. I think such a unit would probably need to be standard and easily removeable

Since this has ended on 04/26/05, why is this still stuck to the top of this list?

Post Re: ***Cargo Management Systems Survey, Please Read!**

I would use the Cargo organizer for carrying tools and plants. The plants can be located on the top shlef with the tools below. Right now, if I carry any plants I cannot load anything above them.

I would be willing to pay $150 to $200 for a sturdy well constructed unit. It needs to be relatively easy to put in place and to remove.

When can I get one? - similar to that shown in the 2007 Owners Manual.

Thank you

What would be really cool is a channel floor locking system like what holds airline seats into the floor of an aircraft, now that would be cool, I think Saab did this.

One of the Saab station wagons had an aircraft style tie down system that would be cool to see in the Tahoe and Suburbans.

1. Groceries, store purchases.
2. Tailored for carrying grocery bags, small boxes.
3. 35 -40 years, male
4. Pay? Such a thing should come standard...I'm not willing to pay for it.

1. Groceries mostly, stuff I need to bring home from work, books, stuff like that.
2. Tailored.
3. 16-21
4. $50-$100

I'd really like underseat storage in GM's SUVs.

Re: ***Cargo Management Systems Survey, Please Read!**

As an option there should at least be a pull out/slider/sliding floor to easily load and unload cargo.. Integrate into that the aircraft tie down or small compartments and I think you have a true winner..

This should lock and unlock easily (my wife should be able to do it with one hand, while the other holds groceries or a kid).

For the above I would be willing to pay no more than $300.00
