The best tires to put on my Yukon Denali?

Need new tires for my 2005 Yukon Denali. They started to "weather" between the tread and they are also stress cracking as they called in on the outer edge with only 43,000 miles. But they are giving me a partial credit for the unusual wear. Right now I have the original tires on the truck and I either want to get the original kind again (Goodyear Wrangler HP) or the Goodyear Forterra that is out there now. I want a tire that is going to ride smooth with no noise. I don't offroad. Let me know if you guys have had any experience or any suggestions. Thanks

Definitely the Fortera TripleTreads. We just put a set on an 04 denali a year ago and they have been great so far.

I believe if you look at the goodyear site, it is the only tire that scores a 10 across the board on wet, snow and ice. Plus it is "Snowflake Certified," which apparantly is something to be REALLY proud of in the world of tires. Traction is superior in tough weather conditions, and they are very quiet.

The only downside is that they are directional tires (as you see in the left picture above), so once you mount them on your rims you can only rotate front to back.

    Good luck on your purchase.

Thanks guys for the help, I think I am going for the Forterra tires. They have the better ratings at the Goodyear site and they look like they are a better tire overall. Thanks again.
