4.5 diesel

I read the new diesel will be in 2010 GM trucks, can anyone confirm this or when they will be ?

I am pretty sure the "new" Diesel is the latest version of the 6.6L Duramax not the anxiously awaited 4.5L

Sorry to break that to you, and your welcome to join the rest of us being disappointed the 4.5L is not available.

Im sure those plans have been shelved due to new EPA regulations, along with the other manufacters diesel plans.

So...basically it is useless to hope for a half-ton diesel now...man that sucks.

Then, the 4.5 is basically dead, after all that work? It won't be used for anything else? I can't find any more current info on this engine myself.
