Re: 2010 GMC Terrain Owner Discussion!
I have one on order, I should have it in a few weeks.
It's an AWD SLE2 in Atlantic Blue w/Titanium interior + Convienience Package(Heated Seats & Remote Start), Cargo Managment Package & 3.0L V6(which requires 18" wheels). I'll be adding an aftermarket hitch so I can get one with a 2" receiver instead of the little 1" one they put on at the factory, I have an assortment of things that work with the larger receiver. A little bit of my vehicle history: I am finishing up a 3 year lease on an 07 Canyon (4x4 CrewCab Z71, I5 w/Auto). It goes back to GMAC at the end of November. The Canyon was a replacemnt for an 03 Sonoma (4x4 CrewCab Z85, V6 w/Auto) that I had on a 4 year lease.

Re: 2010 GMC Terrain Owner Discussion!
I ordered my Terrain exactly 5 weeks ago today! I haven't heard anything from the dealership since then, but I will be calling for an update next week at the 6-week mark.
Spec-wise it's a carbon black metallic SLT-2 V6 AWD with jet black interior. As far as options I ordered it with the 19" wheels, towing package, cargo security cover and of course that special paint. I really wanted the navigation screen but up here in Canada it's a $3,345 option. Didn't add the rear DVD thing because I have no need for it. Price including destination $40,855, plus taxes etc. Add another $1,800 to extend the base warranty to 5 years. Expensive vehicle, but to put it into perspective, the Acadia is about ten thousand more for a similar trim level. This will be my first brand new vehicle that wasn't a lease. It will replace my 2007 GMC Sierra SLE (my first GMC vehicle after a Ford and several Jeep vehicles) 4x4 with the 5.3L. My 30 month lease isn't up until next April but my mileage is at the limit so as part of the financing they will be paying the remaining payments. I can't wait to get the Terrain, but I am a bit worried about breaking in a new vehicle in the winter time. With the leases I had a bit of a different 'relationship' with my vehicles, but with the Terrain I want to take extra good care of it, as I will own it. Looking forward to following this thread to see if there are any common flaws/quality issues with the Terrain. |

Re: 2010 GMC Terrain Owner Discussion!
After much searching I picked up a SLE2 about a month ago
Had to drive 50 miles to get it Great vehicle, I've owned 3 Equinox's in the past and decided whichever vehicle I found first that was built the way I wanted it I'd buy |

Re: 2010 GMC Terrain Owner Discussion!
I helped my mother-in-law purchase a jet-black SLE1 a few days ago. We're hoping that it gets delivered before Dec 31 so we can take advantage of the Federal Sales Tax rebate program, as that is based on invoice date and not 'sign the contract to get it ordered' date.
Very impressed with the value & features of the GMC verses the cheaper-feeling Chevrolet 'nox that we also test drove several models of. She is very excited! ![]()
