About LinkBacksI recently had to replace my car battery in my 2003 GMC Yukon XL. Since then, the front climate control panel will not light up, or, subsequently, allow me to manage the heater or the a/c. The rear system seems to work fine. Checked the two HVAC fuses - all good.
Suggestions?

If someone tried to boost the old battery before replacing it, they got something crossed, and shorted out the head unit

Just for giggles - try this quick-fix.
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery and touch it to the positive cable for a few seconds. This causes ALL ECUs in the vehicle to reset and can fix a multitude of weird issues. It's worth a try . .
I own an independent repair shop and you wouldn't believe how many weird issues we've repaired with this little trick.
