Did I miss something or did Cadillac forget the aux jack on the 07 Escalade's sound system? What's a man to do without being to direct connect his iPod?
you still can directly connect it you will just have to purchase the aftermarket system that will work with the factory radio, large audio retailers sell these kits.
Normally what an installer would do is to tap into rear of the factory unit and run the cable to any place the consumer wants the IPOD to be, it could be placed into a stand that would go beside the glovebox, I have seen that done in a BMW
True enough, but very few other luxury manufactures put auxiliary inputs on the factory radios. And if you just spent 60K on a truck you should be able to afford the 200 dollars for the IPOD to be installed
Valid point... but it's more on principle than it is the extra 200 bucks. People shouldn't have to start drilling holes in their dash as soon as they buy a new Escalade.
one person says he thinks it isnt there and everybody believes them???? Its there. Why would they put it on the yukon and tahoe but not the upscale escalade?:lmao:
It's located on the rear console.....doesn't make sense to me since the tahoe and the yukon have it on the main dash......I guess someone dropped the ball on this one....
Does anybody have a picture of the aux jack on the center console?
