My 2004 sierra 1500 ex-cab 4x4 w/ long bed has a air leak in the front driver door(hinge side). Is it possible to troubleshoot and fix on my own? is it possible to tell if the weather stripping is worn out? The truck has 112,000 mi's

Re: 04 sierra front door air leak
I've got the same set up, short box with less than 60,000miles on it. I don't have any trouble. I would suspect the weather stripping first. Not sure how you would trouble shoot it. Inspect the weather stripping, especially in the area of the noise. Maybe try spraying water at it, but not high pressure, that'll blow through good seals sometimes.
