Whats the word on this? Engine, appearance, interior differences? I haven't heard much on the internet at all about it. I actually just found out about it from MotorTrend

I don't think there are plans to make an SRX-V.

SRX-V is supposed to be out mid-2005.... according R&T (or C&D). It's mentioned in the current issue in a one-liner.
No word on engine, performance, changes, etc.

It should compete with X5 4.8 and Cayenne.

My prediction-

*Suede-leather seats
*Aluminum trim
*Mesh Grille
*Darker headlamps
*19-20" wheels (I Hope!)
*Superchraged Northstar

Intially there was a lot of buzz about there being a SRX-V, and i agree with NSAP about features it might include. That buzz is gone now, now the excitement is for the possible STS-V, but that doesnt mean the SRX-V is dead.

GM, Then and Now... Before you go and buy a import brand car because of the perception of quality, do a little research and you will find GM has as good or better quality than most of those other brands. It's not cool to hate America people!

The SRX-V was a rumor at best...it's not gonna happen. Cadillac is going to concentrate on their Sedans before they introduce a V-Series SUV.

WTF? MotorTrend didn't question about it coming out, it said it WILL BE out by mid 2005. Now I know MotorTrend is ussually the last place to go for new information of future vehicles But its different if they just flat out say its going to be here.

Are you absolutely sure on this one? And if you are, can I save this quote so when and if it comes out I can make a thread about it? :p

I dunno. I don't think they have a choice in this market. SUVs, now moving over into crossovers like the SRX, are where the strength in the market is. Besides, once they do the work on upgrading the STS, translating those parts into an SRX oughta be a piece of cake.

Heck, it wouldn't be tough to swap the guts of a CTS-V into the SRX, either. They're (fraternal) triplets, after all.

I definately agree with that. It would probably be more cost effective to spread out the costs with the SRX too. Cost effective + high performance = happy manufacturer/consumer

May I cross examine you a moment, JDOgg?

Where did you learn the name GMT-265V?
Where did you learn that GMT-265V was cancelled?
What do you do for a living?

Your answers will be appreciated, as they will give readers here a firm basis on which to judge the credibility of what you say.

Thanks.
