Srx-v
Whats the word on this? Engine, appearance, interior differences? I haven't heard much on the internet at all about it. I actually just found out about it from MotorTrend

I don't think there are plans to make an SRX-V.

SRX-V is supposed to be out mid-2005.... according R&T (or C&D). It's mentioned in the current issue in a one-liner.
No word on engine, performance, changes, etc. It should compete with X5 4.8 and Cayenne.

Intially there was a lot of buzz about there being a SRX-V, and i agree with NSAP about features it might include. That buzz is gone now, now the excitement is for the possible STS-V, but that doesnt mean the SRX-V is dead.

The SRX-V was a rumor at best...it's not gonna happen. Cadillac is going to concentrate on their Sedans before they introduce a V-Series SUV.

Heck, it wouldn't be tough to swap the guts of a CTS-V into the SRX, either. They're (fraternal) triplets, after all. |

I definately agree with that. It would probably be more cost effective to spread out the costs with the SRX too. Cost effective + high performance = happy manufacturer/consumer

May I cross examine you a moment, JDOgg? Where did you learn the name GMT-265V? Where did you learn that GMT-265V was cancelled? What do you do for a living? Your answers will be appreciated, as they will give readers here a firm basis on which to judge the credibility of what you say. Thanks. |
