Select 2008 Cadillacs and Buicks get blind-spot detection

Select 2008 Cadillacs and Buicks get blind-spot detection

Valeo Raytheon Systems and General Motors have gotten together to develop a new blind spot detections system that's set to debut on certain Buick and Cadillac models for the 2008 model year.

The system, which is similar to those used by Volvo, takes in data about vehicles in the lanes next to the vehicle, calculates the distance, speed and position, and then triggers a light to illuminate on the vehicle's side mirror.
The question is which Models?
My guess is STS, CTS and Lucerne.

Well, we know for sure it's the Lucerne, as Autoweek just tested a V6 CXL with the feature:

And $38,000 for a mid-range trim level and the 3800 V6??? YOW!

The STS and Lucerne get the blind-zone alert. Stabilitrak is available on V-6 Lucernes, and will probably be on most of them. The Lucerne also gets a new crystal red tintcoat, for all you "plight of the red Lucerne" enthusiasts.

I think that the DTS gets it too.

But it's bulletproof! If it aint broke, don't improve it! And that's only 1,000 dollars per 100CCs!
