Saw my first Lucerne today

The good news: It's beautiful in person. It has a very good stance. The one I saw was a deep wine-red color and it was very flattering.

The bad news: It was on an Enterprise rental lot.

Re: Saw my first Lucerne today

I saw one too, and it wasn't a rental. It's ok looking, but it didn't really stand out. I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't right in front of me.

But then again, all those cars have "fart burners" on them. That "fart burner" ads 5-10HP to your car ;some of those small Hondas can whip a Vett off the line. (from anti-rice.com)
So 115hp+10hp=430hp, at least in ricerland

I saw my first Lucerne recently at a gas station. I also think it is beautiful in person.

When I saw the person fueling up I automatically thought it was either a rental or a dealer car because the guy that got out of it looked to be under 30.

Wow, I am stereotyping the kind of owner I picture driving a Buick. What's wrong with me???

Re: Saw my first Lucerne today

I saw my first late Sat. afternoon, just before dusk. It was the silver color, don't know the grade-level. Was going in the opposite direction, but I got a good glimpse of the front and side. I only noticed it because traffic was moving very slowly. It's OK, but in that color, not as good-looking as in the darker red that was in the mags.

The worst part is that it was being driven by a "senior citizen" that must've traded in his LeSabre on it. To be expected, I guess.

The guy at the pump was probably the great grandson of Owner, who is surely such a hypergeriatric old coot he's unable to manipulate the fuelin' machines any more!

Re: Saw my first Lucerne today

I saw my first Lucerne at wawa 3 weeks ago. It was very nice in person... Surprisingly a man who looked to be in his late 20's or early 30's was driving it. I though it was a passat at first. It was black with the black interior. Very nice and class. Had the v-6 and my mom raced it in the pathfinder. Of course we won... but it did seem to keep up better then i thought... It looks good at night have yet to see one in day light though...

I've seen only 1, and that was on my dealer's lot.
