Saw a 08 CTS with regular plates

I was driving down the freeway today and I looked out my side mirror and it looked different at first, then it got closer and I noticed it was an 08 CTS! It was silver and it was beautiful driving down the road. I know there have been a lot of posts with sightings of the new CTS, but this car DID NOT have manufacturer plates and it was not a dealer plate. It looked just like regular plates. I am a dealer, so I know what plates are suppose to look like. There was a man and woman in the car with a car seat in the back. Are the 08 CTS's out?

Re: Saw a 08 CTS with regular plates

So how did it look in silver on the road...?

Did it look as sharp on the road as it did at the show?

Oh jeez! That's pretty cool.
I wish my parents were rich, and buy me that for Christmas, or Bob Lutz knock on my door with keys to a CTS and a Shell gas card, and telling me how he wants to spread the Cadillac image to younger crods, hhahaha I think winning a lotto is more possible though, lol.

GM Pool Cars have normal plates. Only Engineering and Test Vehicles have M plates.

Most companies (especially automotive) have pools of cars that people can "borrow" and provide feedback on as if they where a customer. Mind you this is not engineering feedback but normal stuff like ergonomics, functionality, etc...

GM, Ford, and DCX have lots full of Pool cars.

Oh lord that looks GOOD in black!
And thanks DuSpinnst for letting me know what a Pool car is.

I freaking want that thing in black with black interior, and loaded of course!

Last time I checked the 08 CTS doesnt start up for 2-3 weeks. The supplier plants havent even started producing full time yet.

Re: Saw a 08 CTS with regular plates

You guys in detroit should or if you would could you take photos?

Sounds like they are around the detroit area so get a camera and place it on the seat next to you.

Would be cool if you did that.

If not...I totally understand. but it would be cool if you did.

TIA
