The GM sites generally have poor photos; I see better quality shots on ebay.

I agree, those are very nice vehicles. From the back it looks to me sort of like an old school Saab 95.

Re: New Lucerne Pics

from the side it looks alot like the new passat. There is too much sheetmetal from the rear door to the rear, i think the rear doors should have been bigger.

the rear looks like that of the zypher, but overall nothing to make it stand out.

BTW in that pic it looks alot like a TSX.

I have to say I love the portholes and how they give away what kind of engine it has.

Re: New Lucerne Pics

Wow. I have to say that these real-world pics look a hell of a lot better than the official GM pics I've seen. I might actually like this car. I reserve my final judgement until I see one in person.

Re: New Lucerne Pics

I hate to be critical, but when IS GM GOING TO FREAKING WAKE UP ON THE ROOFLINE????

AHRRRRGGGHHHHH!
Look at an Acura or a Lexus. Sporty. Roofline slopes back on all lines away from the rear window. This thing looks like a freaking 1997 Malibu.
WAKE UP YOU FREAKING IDIOTS AT GM!
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN WE NEEDED SOMETHING WORTH BUYING BOB?
OMFG!!!!!

(I don't like to yell like that, but this p*sses me off big time. How can the same company that put together the Solstice belch out a car with these lines?)

I think I'm gonna walk outside and try to pick up pieces of my spleen. Be right back.

Re: New Lucerne Pics

Wow, looks nice in these pics. I've seen it in person and I like it. This must be the base model, but I really like the top of the line model.
