Re: Invicta Video
There is a scene with two women standing near some boards at :07-:08. What is the vehicle on the board to the very right? It almost looks like a two-door (?) Buick "Volt," with a high, blocky back.

Re: Invicta Video
Nice to see such a young, talented design team. I think that's why the Invicta Concept comes across so well. It's handsome, especially some of the exterior character lines. The one I'm particularly intrigued by is the one that runs nearly completely along the side profile. It reminds me of my pepere's [well-designed, immaculately-maintained] 1972 Skylark Sedan. It's nice that GM Design is better able to incorporate heritage features and apply it in a 21st century manner. The Invicta Concept's silhouette looks nothing like great Buicks of the past, but one look at specific design cues, and you know this is a proper Buick. Finally!
I still think if this is translated to production in a relatively unadulterated fashion, the NG LaCrosse/Invicta will easily manage 75,000 retail sales in the US per annum. |

Re: Invicta Video
Has anyone noticed the vehicle which I asked about in post #3 of this thread? With all of the speculation, dreaming, and hoping that goes on in this forum, I'm surprised that nobody's remarked about it except me!

Re: Invicta Video
Yeah I just noticed it...looks sorta like the Volt. Probably just a rendering of possible Invicta designs.

Thanks! I found it when I got to my home computer. It wouldn't show at the office.

It looks like the back-side of the Riviera or perhaps a proposal for the Riviera. I couldnn't enlarge the sceen so it was difficult to see.

Re: Invicta Video
There are two different "mystery" vehicles in this video. They are both images tacked up to a board and seen only in the background:
1) is shown at :07-:08 and 3:07-3:10. It appears to be a "blocky," Volt-like, 2-door. 2) is shown at 2:57-3:01. It seems more aerodynamic, with chrome rims and a full-width taillight. Does anyone give any importance to these two designs in terms of future Buick vehicles?
