Those swivel buckets sound pretty cool. Beautiful car.
Current: 12 Buick Regal Turbo Premium I Group (Crystal Red/Cashmere with sunroof) and 09 Saturn Outlook XR
Previous: 09 Pontiac G8 GT (09-12), 06 Buick LaCrosse CXS (06-09), 05 Ford Freestyle SEL (05-09) 02 Hyundai Elantra GT (01-06), 00 VW Jetta (00-05), 85 Mercedes 350 SEL (99-01), 84 BMW 316 (98-99), 90 Mitsubishi Mirage(91-98), 79 Chrysler LeBaron (88-90), 73 Dodge Dart Swinger (87-88).
That thing is awesome. I would hate to see how much HP that 454 was making in 1975. This just continues to remind me that Buick needs a badazz coupe.

Crapwagon, its poorly done, as far as I can recall, the swinging buckets were not availalble on Buicks, the car is missing the a/c comp and the wipers, and thridly, there is no such thing as a 75 GS. For that money, your better off buying one of the real colonade GS's that were made 73-74.Pass.

Really? The car is a clone or tribute car if you will, it says so in the info. Last year for the GS was '74. It has a '73 455 engine in it. Nicely done.
The last year for the 455 was '76.
Yes, I know, I still dont like it, the details are sloppy for 12K, maybe as a 5K weekend car show cruise in car, maybe. I actually like the colonade cars, but I would rather spend the money on the real deal, not a Century that someone slapped a 455 from who knows where in.
Ill take a 73-74 Century GS 455,73-75 Grand Am, 77 Can Am, or any of the 455 engined Olds 442/Hurst Olds combos, rather than spend money on this.
I love the looks and design of many '70s GM cars like this beautiful Buick. It was so cool when GM wasn't trying to be something it's not and sell to people who won't buy from them anyway.

Back from the days when GM was a leader in styling if not always quality. There cars were arguably some of the best looking pieces of the dismal 70's and 80's including the A-bodies, G-bodies, B-bodies, C-bodies and F-bodies.
There was still a GS package offered on the Century (and on the Riviera too) in 1975, but as in 1973-74, it was offered on the Century 4AD37 model, not on the Century Luxus/Custom 4AH57.
Here's a '75 Century GS V6!
In 1975, the V6 or the Buick 350 were available on the GS but not the 455 and the Stage1 package wasn't available on any model after 1974...
The blue car featured on Hemmings is a Century Custom (4AH57) with some modifications that I don't like... The GS package wasn't available on this specific model.
The last year for the GS package on RWD Buicks (in both Riviera and Century models) was 1975. It was reintrodced in 1986 on the FWD Century and later on FWD Skylarks and FWD Regals too...
The last year for the 455 was 1976 but it wasn't available in intermediates like the Century and Regal after 1974.

Is this one of those Canadian only things? Like gravy on french fries? Cause as a far as I can recall, the GS was last available in 1974, the S/R package was kind of like a GS package on Buicks in the mid 70'sThere was still a GS package offered on the Century (and on the Riviera too) in 1975, but as in 1973-74, it was offered on the Century 4AD37 model, not on the Century Luxus/Custom 4AH57.
Absolutely not! The GS package was available on the 1975 Century in the US too. The only S/R models in 1975 were the Apollo and Skylark. In 1976, the Regal and Riviera were also available with the S/R package and the GS package was deleted.
Another 1975 Century GS with remains of the original striping.
