    Escala fixes and variants

In light of our community's recent loss, I took it upon myself to try to fix up some of at least my own personal complaints about Escala and tried to see what other versions would look like. I'm not as good, but you get a general idea.

Assuming Escala signals Cadillac's new design direction:

    CT3 vs CT8:

    CT5 vs CT8:

    CT6 vs CT8:

    CT7 coupe:

    CT8:

    Slightly more formal CT8:

    XT3:

    XT3 vs XT7:

    XT7:

New language is okay, but I get a very Kodo vibe from the front side profile

Nice job sfbreh! I really like the CT7 coupe!

I also like the "slightly more formal CT8" with the B pillars and larger C pillars. As I know you and many of us don't like the actual concept's greenhouse, what is the reality of them making a car without a B pillar and such a slim C pillar with current rollover standards? Meaning is everyone upset over what is truly a concept car styling exercise that will never see the light of day?

Is it just me or is the Escala design language fit better on CUVs than cars? I really like how the XT3 looks. Nice job.

Not just you. I been saying that since Thursday. To me the name says it all. Escala or scale the concept to the different vehicle forms........ even a mid engine. The previous front end doesnt work for CUV's because the light blades would be too comical. Just look at the XT5

I want to see a Escala themed C7 or mid engined car.

I'm wondering if the Escala is the pivot point away from A&S that many have looked for? Could it be the angles and sharp edges have run their course and are now too confining for a whole range of modern Cadillac's?

I really don't see the Escalate as a massive departure. Just a maturing

Escala needs to keep the CTS lights. Man, The CTS from the front is what Cadillac should be, its beautiful

Horizantal Audi Lights are not Cadillac

Please. Feel free to make this a catch-all complaint and feedback thread as well, there's like 3-4 threads going with the same conversations over and over.

It's interesting. I'm not sure how much I like the long deck lid. Here's where someone suggests doing a bustleback chop.

Also, your chop puts the rear passenger's head behind the C pillar or reduces rear leg room
