CTS-V - 0-60 in 'NO', Cadillac owner wants your feedback on his car

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...a500aa04d9.htm

I found this on another forum, hope it hasn't been posted yet. A CTS-V owner is having... a few slight problems with his basically brand new car, and has to have them fixed. For the fourth time.

What do you guys think GM should do about this? Lemon Law it?

"In the ads, Cadillac claims this car has 400 horsepower but right now it feels like it's got two blind, retarded mules trying hump eachother under the hood."

"I've gotta pee as bad as a diabetic, pregnant racehorse."

I heart this video

What Cadillac should do is just give the guy a new CTS-V. That one has some serious problems and they should rip it apart to find out why it's so bad. They don't need this kind of publicity. Of course, that's the first V I've heard of with problems.

A friend of mine had a bad 7 series and after a year of hell they gave him a new one. The new one is better, not perfect, but better. In fact the replacement was the only thing keeping him at BMW.

I don't know, I think he's pretty calm considering how many things he says went wrong. And, just from the video, you can see that car's got some serious problems.

That's wierd. CTS-V to a 335i? Yeah, that's ummm an intesting swap. This guy is really a total turd. Why did he use the f*ing highway if he can't keep up the minimum speed limit. Really mature, and safe.

Damn that engine is shaking, it looks like those engine mounts were definitely loose. Definitely a lemon GM, definitely.

Just out of curiosity, why? The 335i is pretty close in terms of performance.

"I dont know how BMW is"

my sisters bf had a 2002 BMW 5 series. When he got it it was brand new. But there was always an issue with it. I forget what it was but it was limiting something. He took it sevral dealerships and by the time he has 5000KM on it he said "eff this" and ended up getting a new car.

Another thing that drives me nuts. The guys car is messed. BUt yet he insists on driving it with the check engine light on and the "pedal mashed" and yet still going 50MPH...should something not click in his brain and tell him to stop before his car gets more screwed?

Now that i watch it even more. He just got out of the car with it running, it sounds like its not fireing properly. Improper ignition like onstar said

To me it sounds like he abused the car and is not fessing up to it. He's had work done to the diff twice with a complete replacement.

I'm taking this video with a huge grain of salt.

What's the alternative? Drop it off at some random unknown Cadillac dealer, buy a rental car, then drive 150 miles back to pick it up, only to probably still have the same problem? I'd say "f--- it" and limp the thing home, too. Who cares if it gets screwed up more? It's under warranty, and the dealer has already had made 3 unsuccessful attempts at fixing it. By that point, I wouldn't exactly shed any tears over putting an extra burden on GM and the dealership.

As for the "GM can do no wrong!! he had to have abused it!!!!" excuse-- the differentials on those cars blow up all the time. And unless he was on his fifth set of rear tires and had never changed the oil, there's really no justification for those kinds of problems at 12k miles.
