Buick needs a coupe, hatch, wagon & convertible, not another sedan or CUV.
Pontiac did NOT destroy itself, GM destroyed Pontiac. http://www.resurrectpontiac.com/

Completely agree.
Buick, we need the GTC and GTC VXR now. Stop the trepidation and do it. If you really want younger buyers to take Buick seriously, the GTC and GTC VXR are the way to do it. Sales might not hit a million overnight. But it'll do wonders for the brand image. It'll put Acura et al on strict notice. It'll show that GM and Buick are serious about breaking the mould instead of "playing it safe".
Call it the Manta. It'd be perfect.

Wouldn't You Really Rather Have A Buick?
Unlike some folks on here FWD cars can be fun to drive and Buick needs this car.
Current rides: 08' Sunburst Orange Cobalt SS/TC
12' VW Passat TDI Manual

All fine and dandy in theory but this car will end up being way too expensive and will flop sales wise.

I notice it has the hockey stick detail on the side going in the right direction like the Regal instead of the reverse hockey stick like the Verano.![]()
I'll take mine with the 2.0T.![]()

Soon - After viewing the 360s of the ATS interiors on the Caddy site, I won't be happy with any other car.

Proud to drive American. Proud to drive GM.
Current Cars:
2013 GMC Terrain SLE: 2.4L ECOTEC I-4
2003 GMC Envoy SLE: 4.2L Vortec 4200 I-6
1998 GMC Sonoma SLS Ext. Cab: 4.3L Vortec 4300 V6
Former Cars:
2007 Chevrolet Malibu LS (2006-2012)
1993 Saturn SW2 (1993-2006)
1989 GMC Safari SLT (1989-2003)
Such a tease. Would make a great bike hauler for me.
In the UK the Vauxhall version starts at £19,040.00 which is $29,560 USD and that's with a 1.4 Turbo. Move up to the 1.6T and the price jumps to $32,239. The Verano Turbo has a 2.0T. That's the base model. Move up to the next trim up with the 1.6T and the price becomes $34,141. Opt for the 2.0CDTi Diesel and you're flirting with $36k.
It would flop at those prices.

When I eventually graduate college, I want a small, upscale 3-door hatch with sporty looks and great MPG. If this came to America, this would be perfect.
