I like Cosmos Purple Metallic better than Majestic Plum Metallic IMHO. Its a little darker so it doesnt scream barney and looks black at night.
How about a nice green?
Why are car companies afraid to offer the color green?
Oh, and did you guys forget the Hot Lava CTS color?
Hot Lava was the same as Daytona Orange on the Corvette IIRC.
On a side note: When is Cadillac going to add a power trunk to their passenger cars? People coming from other brands over to Cadillac want to see the features they are used to and more to get them to switch.
Meh, base model is base model.
The interior color choice is small for the regular Vsport which sucks. But its whatever, going from $60k to $70k isnt too big of a deal if Im getting my beautiful Kona brown leather.

Honestly, the base model doesn't look bad at all. Since the turn signals are integrated in the LED light signatures, it still has them, just without the LED light pipes.
It doesn't look bad at all. Certainly more substantial than a base E, 5, or A6.
So, are we to understand that their will be no V-8 CTS. I was told today by a Cadillac sales person that the CTS-V would be gone after 2014, and would not be available in the 2015 CTS. In other words,...no CTS-V
I am hoping that is not the case.
With no V-8 available in the ATS, or XTS, this would be a disaster...that would leave only the Escalade, and LTS.

"The Standard of The World" CADILLAC
There will be a CTS-V...
Opulent Blue does nothing for me. It's not luxurious and it's not sporty. It's loud and annoying. Sapphire Blue is obviously a deeper, richer blue that's for the luxury shopper. Just a gloss Rebel Blue is more youthful and sporting than Opulent Blue. It's literally just a metallic royal blue. It's boring, yet loud and obnoxious at the same time.
Cadillac needs a color like Audi's Estoril Blue. Estoril Blue is supposedly their color that they're trying to establish as their "performance color," as in when you see it you know it's an S or R.
Only it should look nothing like Estoril Blue, because it too is hopelessly boring.
Cadillac needs to offer high-dollar matte packages like BMW's Frozen colors. Do a special package, at least one per model year at first, and offer it on every car in the lineup in a less restricted manner than the most recent editions they did.
Make it at least a $5k option and make it a knockout color combo.
Navy blue and cashmere on the LTS should definitely be offered. I think that definitely would be a nice. Something to this effect.
but didN'T like it;
AGREE about a Sapphire!!;
not sure I know Estoril Blue;
& don't know Rebel Blue but
Volvo used to(?) have an interesting medium blue called Berents Blue, a stronger than usual steel-blue that was Great in direct sun and changed a Lot (so I was told) in different lighting. Rich looking, definitely not boring
