2009 Build Details ?

When will the 2009 Escalade build details be known?
Things like:
1) Will the gray interior be available?
2) What will the wheels on the hybrid look like (chrome etc)?
3) Will the front seats have inboard armrests?
4) Will there be a console mounted shifter?
5) Will all the hybrids have the taped on words below the doors?
6) What will be the order date for the hybrid?

Thanks.

Re: 2009 Build Details ?

The cheesy H Y B R I D decal on the side is removable. Just request that the dealer remove it, and they will. I've seen a Tahoe Hybrid on the highway without the HYBRID decal.

I was under the impression that the huge HYBRID decal was only on the show vehicles?

I don't know, I heard that the vehicles are delivered with them, but they can be removed upon request.

Re: 2009 Build Details ?

2009 information should be out sometime next month, when GM publishes the ordering guides.

Known already:
-Bluetooth will finally be standard, across Cadillac and optional/standard on other GM's
-Hybrid wheels are the same as regular Escalades...unless they decide to change that between now and later
-Seats will not change, with armrests or anything else
-The Hybrid decal is just that, an optional decal

The 2008 order cut-off is April 1st and 2009 production then starts June 23rd for the Escalade, SO, the Hybrid version should be orderable at the same time the regular model is, around May/June.

Re: 2009 Build Details ?

^^^I am pretty sure I read that the Escalade Hybrid will have unique 20 inch "low rolling resistance" wheels.

And I for one like the Hybrid decal, mabey not on the Escalade, but I would deffinatly have it on my Tahoe or Yukon! (that is if I would own one, which I wouldnt)
