Question 2004 Buick Century Exterior care

I have a 2004 Buick Century, color is cashmere, interior is cloth seats, custom. Any recommendations on the best exterior cleaning and waxing products? I would really like to know what product to protect and polish the metal exterior parts with. I have ArmorAll car soap without the wax in it. I like washing and waxing separately. I also have NuFinish which is technically not a wax, but has never failed me on any other cars, excluding the one laquer Camaro tht I owned. That paint is whole different story. Interior cleaning tips would help too. This car is practically like new and I want to keep it that way, unfortunately , this year it will not be in a garage, so you can surley understand why I want the safest protectant for the paint, yet the most protective. Thanks for listening, guys.

Re: 2004 Buick Century Exterior care

I personally use Mother's California Caranuba Cleaner Wax - easy on and easy off. Honestely I don't notice a huge difference visually between the various waxes. I have read that the Turtle Wax Hard Shell wax lasts very long before wearing off - a very important consideration if your car isn't garaged.

I've read the soap with wax isn't the best and washes off in the rain. Also this is probably a silicon based wax which I understand long term is not good for the finish. I'm no pro, nor do I recall where I have read this - so the above is really on the "it's my opinion" level vs fact...
