finally, some specs for the new V-6 STS AWD are showing up on the cadillac.com website. so far, they have listed the fuel economy figures.
no weight and certainly no price info. my local dealer mentioned that cadillac says the car will ship soon. he said that means it could be anytime in the next year!

Re: '06 Sts

The 06' will offer the V6 with AWD, unlike the 2005 where you could only get AWD with the V8

The AWD V-6 will be offered only with the 1SC package (loaded), so expect it to run around $52,000.

Re: '06 Sts

I wish that Cadillac would give you the option of getting the 18" wheels and the adaptive cruise on the V6 STS, I dont like the smaller wheels on the basic STS V6 and V8. I did get to sit in a awsome $62,000 STS V8 yesterday at a Cadillac dealership, I actually spent about 30 minutes sitting inside the car, it had every option except the adaptive cruise, what a neat car, I found the manual for the navigation system and spent sometime thumbing through that, it was quite impressive.

Did you know that you can set the "voice" of the navigation system to either a US male voice, a female US voice, a UK male voice(a Cadillac with a British accent!) a French, German or Spanish "voice"!

It also has verbal commands....you can as the the navigation system to lower or raise all the windows, or just simply tell the navigation sytem "I'm hungry", and it will find the closest restaurants...

There is a whole bunch of other stuff available, the level of equipment on the loaded STS is amazing, the Intellibeam ,the color HUD, the 15 speaker stereo...

Simply amazing, I read through that manual with my jaw dropped...

as long as there is a moonroof, bluetooth, dolby 5.1 and wood steering wheel (along with the other usual goodies) i'm happy. really fed up with cars that need premium no lead.
