Torrent Pioneer 7 speaker audio system info

Hello all,

I was wondering if anybody had any information on the Pioneer audio system that comes with the Sun & Sound package. Like where is the amplifier located? Is it adjustable? Whats the model number on the amp, sub, and door speakers? How is the system wired?(RCAs to the amp from radio?) Is the amplifier powering all of the speakers or just the sub?

I just purchased a 07 torrent about 2 weeks ago and am not very happy with the audio system. I have aftermarket speakers and an amplifier from my old car which I'm considering installing to replace the factory stuff. I was just hoping I could salvage maybe the factory amp and sub then add my own amp and door speakers.

Thanks for any info

I am sure you are better off with aftermarket products. You will probably save yourself some money as well. In my 03 s10 I have my factory system (head unit and speakers) with a JBL 1000W amp powering 3 MTX 10" subs and it is crazy loud and clear.
