Probably no where near that number. The value didn't go up when the stopped making them so why whould that now that Pontiac is dead. That's not going to make the average person want one more now.

No...but dabbling collectors either have to step up or be out altogether.

I have a discontinued car from a now defunct maker with a one of a kind (also discontinued) high helix smog legal supercharger that runs 11's...
to my knowledge there is only one other that is EXACTLY the same..
there was only 472 of the red on red with the A4 in 05...

This car is rare...

Yes sir, I do understand what your saying. You have a great car, and I understand the options and the mods make it rare. I just dont think that a modern GTO can fetch 250K, but that is just me. Time will tell.

Re: Pontiac Dead? What's a 600hp 05 GTO going to be worth in a few months?

The Pontiac performance cars will always hold their value. The newer cars may take an initial dip in price. But ten years down the line, they'll do well in the collector marketplace. The '05-'06 GTO's will do better than the 2004's... The LS2 is that much better than the LS1... And the M6's will do better than the Autos...

People/Collectors equate Pontiac with muscle... And muscle will only gain in popularity for collectors as our mainstream cars become more and more Toyotafied... That is, bland. Modified performance cars are always hit and miss in the collector market. They are a little harder to judge. Have fun with your Goat while you have it!!! Lucky dog!

You can buy 04 GTO's for about $12,000. Take it from there.

You must not know the difference between them...it's HUGE!

I've found them for 7 with water damage....anyways....

Pontiac being put to sleep is going to be bad for some and good for others.

Sorry to break it to ya, but it will be worth just as much as one of the Oldsmobile "Final 500" cars...

Yeah, I don't see our cars being worth too much for at least 10 years, especially since you modded your car a lot. All I've done is headers, intake, GaTOr Pod, and thermostat... and I still have the stockers so it can be "all original" (I also have a one-year color) just in case I ever decide to sell her (it won't happen). So I guess in my eyes, it won't matter what she's worth, since I won't sell her.

The value of a car for collectors goes way down with any mod whatsoever.

I know. I love to mod them.

Collectors want the car bone stock, with all the build sheets, owner's manuals, window sticker, ect.

Bone stock: Can be done.
Build sheets: No idea how to get them.
Owner's Manuals: Check.
Window Sticker: Check.

Whatever the case may be, at least it will be worth considerably more than a used G3.

Maybe if you didn't modify it yourself it'd be worth something but seriously? You did something that Pontiac had nothing to do with... Collectors just aren't going to say "I NEED to have this piece of personal modification history!"
