Hidden images of refreshed Pontiac G6's on Pontiac.com?

If you go to:
http://wwww23.pontiac.com/pricing-offers/
You will see that the bottom fascia shows a version of what the spy photogs have caught so far.

Here is are some screen caps enlarged to show the front ends:

I have to say that I actually like it quite a bit! It is almost gives a last-gen Sunfire look that I always liked to the lower front end.

Re: Hidden images of refreshed Pontiac G6's on Pontiac.com

That is not what the refreshed model will look like. That front end has been on sale for awhile now in the GXP trim.

I thought the refreshed G6 will be a rebadge of the Malibu?

They look like just GXPs to me. Looks like GXP badges on the sides too.

You are confused.

There is going to be a mild, mild reface of the current G6. Basically the current car with a G8-ish grille.

The upcoming Epsilon II G6 will be a rebadged Epsilon II Malibu.

So you actually mean rebadge; not platform mate?

Maybe it'll be like a Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade thing. Obviously rebadges, but each have their own little thing that makes them unique.

I'm guessing the overall body structure and shape will be the same, but the Malibu's styling will be more conservative, while the G6's will be more sporty. I doubt it'll just be twin grilles and a dart slapped on a Malibu.

I wouldn't hold your breath you see what happened with the Cobalt/G5 clones virtually the same car with just a grill swap and taillight differentation at best.

Well, I think that GM's figured out that obvious rebadging sucks as shown with the GMT-900s.
