G8 Incentive Confusion

Well this is interesting. There seem to be 4 types of G8's on the Current Offers page

http://wwww23.pontiac.com/showCurren...613&year=2008#

Anyone have any idea what that's about? We can't tell if you get $1000 or $1500 off the V6.... or whether you get $0 or $500 off the V8?! (Although I have a strong suspicion it's $0 on the V8/GT and $1500 on the Sedan/V6).

GT V8: no cash back, but 5.9% APR
GT V6: $1,000 cash back and 5.9% APR
sedan V6: $1,000 and 5.9% APR
sedan V8: $500 or 5.9% APR

That's my interpretation of the Pontiac site's bullets..........however: If you get a "GT"...it means you get the V8, there is no V6 GT right? And there is no V8 sedan right? This is confusing! Booooooooo

No wonder GM's marketing is so bad, they don't even know what vehicles they sell.

Yeah, once I saw that on the site a while back with "GT V6" I knew someone wasn't up to par.

The incentive listings on GM sites are ALWAYS confusing, even if you're used to deciphering them. They break them down into so many pieces at times, or there's 5 different things at once for one model and some combine, come can't, etc. but that's never properly spelled out on the site, etc., etc.

But GT V6, yeah, that was it for me.
