Re: Anyone See Any Pontiac G8 Print AD's?

I just grabbed the latest issues of the major car mags that I had lying around ... every one of them had a G8 ad ... just going from memory they've been in each months issue for a number of months now.

Motor Trend - May 208 - back cover
Automobile - April 2008 - inside
Car and Driver - April 2008 - back cover

They've been in a ton of automotive magazines lately...I'm staring at a Motortrend with it right now.

Do you by any chance happen to know of where I could find a scan of those online or something?

I have not seen a single G-8 commercial on TV, but then again I watch very little TV...has anyone else seen one?

I've seen all three even the one about how the g8 is better than a 5 series, the one everyone would said wasn't from pontiac, i think that one was only played once during the ncaa championship game at half-time.

There's been a ton of print ads. They're always on the back cover of auto rags.

Re: Anyone See Any Pontiac G8 Print AD's?

I saw my first G-8 today...to my eyes it was very anonymous and dated looking, stubby and boxy....I HAD hoped it would look better in real life. The only thing about it that says "Pontiac" is the obligatory nostril grille. Stark contrast to the sleek, stunning 1965 GRAND PRIX.

Re: Anyone See Any Pontiac G8 Print AD's?

I think it is a clever move to compare the G8 to a BMW. It will get some BMW owners backs up -to which you say does you BM Trouble you? It also might get a few of them to actually look and see if they are getting value for their money (They are the only ones who can decide that of course).
A couple of guys I talk to have said "dont be riduclous" when I have suggested it to them but I just give them a reply -I had a 1975 520 which is supposed to be the worst BMW ever and I found it OK but my mate had a 3 series which gave him a bit of strife so BMW havent always had the reputation they have (or had in my mind since they Bungled the designs)
