Too Many <Censored> Toyota <Bleeped> Fans at GMI?

It's getting really, really bad when nearly every other post apologizes profusely for Toyota.

What is going on at GMI?

I'll go with Toyota Inferi for $1000, Alec.

Well, seeing as how Toyota is talked about more on this site than GM themselves & some of the Toyota talk is blantantly wrong bashing, don't be surprised if someone calls you out on it. TN has GM fans there and the members there get along for the most part with them. ON this site if you drive a Toyota or disagree with a certain view, the get lost and get the **** out of here attitude is blasted upon you.

And also, your poll options are quite obviously trying to start a flame war...stereotyping people who are fans of Toyota. "MY YARIS IS TOTALLY COOL" come on, seriously?

Please stop making my point for me.
I can do this on my own. Thanks anyway.

A little note of advice: Plane's posts contain about 95% sarcasm.

Wanting fans of other brands to go away and their opinions ignored is akin to sticking your fingers in your ear and going "lalalalal" when your parents are yelling at you. But whatever, Toyota is hella dumb! Do I fit in now?

I know that, but a lot of the feelings like that are prevelant here. Especially thinking people go around and say "My Echo is so tight". Nobody does that, I don't know why Toyota fans are so generalized like that.

They are generalized because most of the Toyota fans that are well-remembered from GMI were total trolls. We have had some great, constructive Toyota fans on GMI over the years, but--like with anything--the few annoying bad ones are the ones that are remembered.

Many also wonder why Toyota fans like to hang out on a GM fansite...

I don't mind the Toyota fans, or the Ford fans for that matter. Some diversity is a good thing on the forum.

What I do dislike are unintelligent posts, regardless of the viewpoint being represented. If you all want an example, just look at all the stupid comments in the "Toyota is leaving Formula 1" thread.

I'll play. Where's the "I'm high on barbiturates" option?

Maybe because the Toyota Kool-Aid starts to taste nasty after a while?
