I saw a MK5 Golf Variant with Deutsche Nummernscilder on a car carrier yesterday. It was pretty dirty, like they had just driven it off a ship. VWoA's port is down here but I doubt this car belongs to VW given the road it was on and it's direction of travel.

Remember the Vauxhall Ventora I found for sale a while ago? Same bloke has an 83 or 84 Vauxhall Carlton wagon for sale. Looks exactly like a VC/VH era Commy with strange dual round headlights shoehorned where the Commy trapezoidal (?) lights go. This one has what look like HSV copy wheels with Vauxhall badging.
I took some photos on my phone, I'll put them up as soon as I can. BTW I have no idea whether this is a real Vauxy or a Commy tarted up to suit his GME tastes. I believe this bloke may have had an Opel Manta previously 7 I've previously seen a nice little Vauxy Chevette tooling around locally. There cannot be too many grey import Vauxhall Fanciers around here! Ok - here are the photos - evidently a 1987 Vauxhall Carlton
