Re: Oldsmobile snow plow
Man that is amazing I wasn't expecting it to do that well. Front suspension isn't sagging that much either...should have seen the Z71 that I saw the other day...poor thing needs air lift bags
![]() OH and in Lansing I recently saw an old school Subaru Loyale wagon with a little snowplow

[QUOTE=eurohazard;1974990]The engine sounds awful....but that is pretty impressive for a FWD car![/QUOTE
That wasn't the engine, that was the lefting mechanism for the plow. I have to say, leave it to a newfie. |

Re: Oldsmobile snow plow
I have to wonder if it's worth the work to outfit an Olds 88 with a plow in the first place. I've done 2 on my vehicles. One was HD and the other was medium duty. I used Timbrens on the front end of the HD application. This unit looks like a winch operated homeowner unit, so I doubt that it weighs more than 250lbs.

Re: Oldsmobile snow plow
Man, that exhaust sounds awesome!
Oh, and I guess he didn't want to buy a truck just for plowin', so he used a car that can carry people too. |

I rewatched the video....and the sound I am talking about is the engine from the car. It sounds like a diesel. |

Wonder what sort of I-beam supplemental front sub-frame he's got welded on. Pretty kewl.
