Man, that was cool as f*****k. Very tidy pics of something you'll probably never see again. Some real old school grunt at work there.

Best tires ever.... hell they lasted years and years on the back of my 79 Chevy that my grandfather gave me....the trans finally let go but the tires had another year left in em. Of course this was before anyone heard of replacing a tire just because it was old...if there was tread, it wasn't going anywhere

LOL Sears tires... we always had Sears tires... my Firebird was wearing a pair of totally worn Sears in the front and some really nice Sears in the back (though obviously dryrotted)

My dad always had the Sears on his cars also... Sears ROADHANDLER, several sets... seemed at least the Roadhandler ones were usually made by Michelin and very close to a Michelin tyre but with Sears stamped on the side.

Edit I hate beige but I am really feeling that beige 66-67 GTO with the strange vinyl roof

Cool. That was my day. I was 10 years old in 1975 and we would ride our bikes to watch my brothers and his friends work on cars like these. I have distinct memories of passing a neighboors house on the lake and smelling that banana smell from automotive paint. Nice memories.

Seems like Chevelles were pretty popular street racing cars back then.
