My experience at the auto show

Hey guys,
Yesterday I attended the Tampa Bay International Auto Show,
and to my surprise, most of the cars there were really bad looking.
Ill try to keep this short, but here were some of my favorites, and some of the worst in show.

The Good:
Chevy Silverado: I was VERY impressed with how much the Silverado has improved...no complaints...very well done
Chevy Cobalt SS: I love this car alot...it was in that orange metallic color, very nice...only complaint is the shifter had long throws
Corvette Z06: Simply Amazing!
Malibu/Maxx SS: these cars are really starting to grow on me...
Chevy Nomad Concept: change the doorhandles and then build it now!
Saturn Sky/Sky Redline: Utmost disbelief...I would give anything to own one of these...no complaints whatsoever
Saturn Aura:If you guys cant already tell, I really like the Aura, enough said
Saturn Outlook/GMC Acadia: Love 'em...they should be great sellers
Pontiac Grand Prix GXP: a very solid car, decent interior, nice exhaust note
Saab 9-3 Aero: I love these cars now that I have really seen them
Caddy V-series: Love every one of them! Escalade was awesome also
All of the Audi cars were very nice...I would love an A4
BMW 6 series...my favorite BMWs...beautiful

The Bad:
Lincoln Navigator: wow, i was really shocked at how bad it was, its got nothing on the Escalade
Ford Mustang: I was disappointed at the Shelby convertible that was there, not as cool as it could be
Toyota Tundra: WHAT A JOKE! no way in hell will this thing be better than the Silverado!
Toyota Prius: "Point and Laugh"
Honda Ridgeline: My dad started laughing while we were looking at this monstrosity
All Dodge/Chrysler cars have the exact same interior!!! WTF?
Dodge Nitro: A sea of black plastic...I couldn't bare sitting in it
Charger/300C/Magnum:...good try but no manual!?!?

My dad and I spent alot of time laughing and shaking our heads while looking at most of the competition...Oh well...Its good news for GM!

Ask me about any other cars that were there..I'll tell you what I thought

Less "important" auto shows sometimes get the older show cars. I'm not quite sure why. The Milwaukee auto show is like that too. You get to see the worn out concept cars of a few years ago, and then just a bunch of cars that you could've seen at a car dealership.

Once in a while a newer concept car will show up, which is always a nice surprise.

Re: My experience at the auto show

Well in the case of the PVD show we usually get what the Boston show gets.

i agree with you on that. you think that they would show more newer concepts cars at the cleveand auto show being that there is a ford and chevy engine plant about a mile away from where they hold the show.

Man that is so true. Ever year I go down in San Antonio I feel like a red-headed step child and walk away dissapointed. Where's all the smoke and girls dancing around while they yank the cover off of some new vehicle. Never happen down here.
