I loved that highlander concept when it came out. I wanted it so bad!! I think that was the beginning of the ZR-2, right?

Re: Looking Back: 1993 Chevrolet Highlander Concept
I'm surprised at how much like the production version these two look. The sunfire, less so than the S-10. I don't know if that Sunfire concept is necessarily better looking.

![]() hehe. I made a model of the banshee but ruined the finish which was candy apple red. Looking back it was about as practical as ice skates in the desert.

Re: Looking Back: 1993 Chevrolet Highlander Concept
Awsome!
The Blazer XT-1! I forgot the one. It looked like part minivan, part SUV, with a Knight Rider style dash! Whats not to love. What movie was the Xt-1 in? And the Stinger video! WOW, I have neve seen that before! Did I have the Talking Heads music orginally or did someone re-dub a GM promo film! The Stinger was another one of those cars I though I would have in my driveway when I was older, and what did we get? The Aztek. Sometime I can understand how people can become cynical.... I loved the Stinger, I think that they could build it today and it would still be contemporary. Here's another one, the 100mpg GM Ultralite. oh, and of course , the 200mpg GM Lean Machine! I remember seeing the Lean Machine at EPCOT in 1982 and I sooo wished the GM would produce it, there was a video of the thing driving around, it looked like such a blast to drive.
