Yeah I got hit on the back pass side. Back wheel is bent in, the bumper needs to be replaced, the rim is cracked, and there are a few large dents on the side. Its not driveable but that thing was like a tank and didnt even move when I got hit, I would say she was going 35-45 and I was going about 10. No aches or pains yet but I already made an appt. with the doc. Im hoping they total it but I dont think the axel got bent just the control arms.

I hate that driver right now she should have gotten off the damn phone.
Oh...she was on her cell phone while driving??

Hmmm. I think I smell the potential for a lawsuit in addition to the accident repair costs for her/insurance company to pay.

Does Texas or your city/town have any laws about not talking on cell phones while driving?

Sorry to hear about the accident. Glad to hear that you're & the other driver are alright. Perhaps she needs to learn a hard lesson here?

that sux luckily Saab (like fellow swede Volvo) are pretty safety conscious with there cars so it's good that you are ok. I remember getting rear ended by a lady on my way to GM proving grounds in Milford. She got the left corner of my car (she was trying to steer away) and nailed her right front. Luckily she apologized profusely and said it was her fault multiple times (which made filing the accident report a breeze) and speaking of the cop we didn't even have to call him he was across the street at a restaurant eating his lunch when it all went down. Anyway insurance covered everything and all ended well
